Jonas Vestergaard

Jonas Vestergaard was born in 1977 in Spentrup near Randers. His mother Gytta was a prospect for “MC Club Hellbound”, but never made it to become an actual member. This was partly due to bloody fights over who was the father among the bikers. He grew up with Gytta and several “fathers” and “brothers” in the biker community. From them he learned to talk “street talk”, catch fish and listen to hard rock. Jonas drove a motorbike as an 8-year old but never made it past fifth grade.

37 metal bands

When his mother died in 1988, Jonas was adopted by “Hellbound” in Malmö in Sweden, and went on numerous “summer raids” on the roads of Sweden and Finland. He left the bikers when he turned 18 and in 1995 he attended the Roskilde festival for the first time. This made a big impression on him and he is occasionally seen wearing a T-shirt from his first concert with Armageddon Dildos. Jonas has an impressive memory and can name all hard rock bands from the UK and US from Mötley Crüe to Pantera. He once impressed a girl named “Kirsten K” by naming 37 bands starting with the letter A. She later married Jonas. Although he has been to the Roskilde Festival 12 times since, he as never seen his favourite band, American death metal act Slayer.

The “pishegn” incident

Jonas got lost at the Roskilde festival in 2005, and was robbed during the night. He woke up the next morning in the camp of some intoxicated Swedish teenagers. Incidentally, this camp was lying next to the “Skive Camp”. By chance, this morning Foking Films director Hans Bruntt was casting for the movie Son of Odin 2. When they met at the “pishegn” (Danish for “fence for urinating”), Hans was so impressed with Jonas’ physique and strong jaw muscles, that he immediately signed him for the leading role as the “Son of Odin”. Since then, Jonas has had minor roles in several productions from Foking Films, including his strong performance as “the guard” in Comfort Clones.
