Steen, also known as “Stoney Maloney”, was born in Osuna, a little town in southern Spain in 1970. He is the only child of Spanish farther Santiago Maloney and Danish mother Gyta “the real deal” Knudsen. This explains Steen’s “Don Juan” looks – very dark hair and intense blue eyes. Steen in an early age learned to take advantage of his looks and he always had things his way. People just couldn’t resist him.
Early years
He grew up a very skinny and lazy boy who never needed to make an effort. In his early teens he was known as a party boy and he “was pimpin’ the ladies”, as one school mate put it. When Steen was 16 his parents split up and he moved to Aarhus (Denmark) with his mother. In Aarhus his mother forced Steen to finish school and as a graduating gift Steen got a trip to the US. Steen took his best friend and lover “Mr. Tykke” with him and the two of them travelled across America. But one night in the outback of Texas Steen mysteriously disappeared. He was nowhere to be found and after two months there were still no signs of him. Rumour has it that Steen was adopted by aliens, since he was very interested in “space exploration” and “alternative lifestyles” when he finally reappeared back in Aarhus.
Heavy metal fanatic
After an Iggy Pop concert at the Roskilde Festival in 1987, an obese man was found lying restless in front of the main stage. The man was admitted to Roskilde Hospital and after a thorough extermination and DNA testing it was determined that the mysterious “fat man” was Steen M. Knudsen. Steen had no knowledge of his whereabouts the year his was missing. A rumour says that Steen returned from hell. Facts are that he returned a grown man strong as a bear and hard as a stone (hence the nickname “Stoney Maloney”). Steen had kept his Latino looks, but returned with a dark mind. He only wears black, only listens to black and death metal.
Worshipper of Satan
Shortly after the Iggy Pop concert he started an underground group of people that worships Satan himself. Steen’s needs to express the darker side of him led him to Norway and the “Black porn” producer Peter “Okking” Madsen. Steen co acted in “Black Porn II” and like Peter got involved in the second wave of black metal in the early 1990. Steen moved back to Aarhus together with Peter in 1993. The two friends and “Mr. Tykke” started attending the Roskilde Festival in 1992. Steen still regularly attends Roskilde Festival and has passed out every night in front of the main stage several times. It was not until 2007 that Steen got involved with Foking Films with an insignificant role as one of the cultists in Creature from the Faeces Lagoon. However, in 2008 he was seen again in a leading role as the doctor in the Sex and the Zombie pilot.
