The rumour mill has it that Foking Films have abandoned their trademark “zombie slasher” theme for their next production, shot at the Roskilde festival 2011. Apparently, the film is a documentary about the boy band “Boyz II men” who was supposed to play at the festival in 1991, but their show was cancelled for unknown reasons. At least one source reports that the movie involves several of the “hardcore metal freaks” – the usual cast of Foking Films – that are in fact facing “B2M” in battle by choreographed dancing!!
In a low-res video that was leaked to youtube earlier this week (but quickly removed due to copyright issues) Jakob Vogdrup and Frank Meistrup are seen turning cartwheels to the pop track “I’ve been thinking about you” by B2M.
Jakob Vogdrup, known for his leading roles as a paranoid schizophrenic in “Onde Jakob” (2009) and a rebel clone in the underground sci-fi cult flick “Revenge of Ho-Chi Göbbels” (2006), has been reluctant to comment. “I hate pop music, that’s all! My life is about heavy metal, heavier than you can ever imagine! I listen to that shit all the time.” Frank Meistrup, playboy and method actor from the discontinued TV-series “Sex and the Zombie” (2008) was clearly drunk when we confronted him last night: “F.O.K. you! I didn’t even know that they [Boyz II men] existed back in 1991.”
Stay tuned for more rumours!
