Since the mysterious disappearance of cult-director Hans Bruntt at the Roskilde Rock Festival in July 2011, the people behind Foking Films have now started to go through his belongings.
“My first thought was to make a museum exhibiting the disgusting things we found in his apartment,” Peter Madsen said yesterday in an interview with local news paper Aarhus Onsdag. “But we realized that no-one would ever go to a museum to see a half-meter black dildo that was used for the mud scene of the film Creature from the Faeces Lagoon. No one would understand that Hans was breathing thought that thing – that in fact his life depended on that tube of latex for 30 minutes as he nearly drowned in the mud during the opening scene!”
The most striking find is a nearly finished manuscript titled “Zombie Tubbies”, a spoof on the popular childrens’ TV series from BBC, featuring Tinkey-Winkey, Dipsy, Lala and Po. In this film the Teletubbies would instead wear Zombie costumes, and instead of always “hugging and kssing” they would eat each other’s brains – and molest innocent rabbits that happen to pass by.
“I think the zombie idea was a flop to begin with”, Madsen explains. “But apparently the most popular production we did was the TV Pilot Sex and the Zombie”.
It is uncertain whether the manuscript will ever make it to production.
